Welcome, our goal here at "The Uncarved Block" is to help you to build the best and finest collection of gems and minerals possible. We scour the earth to find new specimens that are suitable for the most discerning collectors and put together an information package for each specimen, which includes the collection locality, species, and any other important information. Each month we will bring a new mineralogical experience right to your door. The specimen and information package will be shipped to your preferred address or the package can be held for your pick up at our Santa Rosa store. Prior arrangements must be made for this and adjustments will be made for postage on pickups.

Once a month each member will receive a new specimen and descriptive package for their collection. There are five levels of membership available and each member is GUARANTEED to receive a specimen worth at least 50% more than their monthly dues. Sometimes the specimens will be worth even more. Members also receive a membership card valid for a discount on all future store and website purchases, as indicated below.

1. Quartz level - $96.00 /Year, discount = 10%

2. Opal level - $216.00 / Year, discount = 10%

3. Ruby level - $348.00 / Year, discount = 15%

4. Emerald level - $600.00 / Year, discount = 20%

5. Diamond level - $2400.00 / Year, discount = 25%

Value of specimen received for each membership level;

1. Quartz level - $5.00/month dues paid = minimum $7.50 valued specimen.

2. Opal level - $15.00/month dues paid = minimum $22.50 valued specimen.

3. Ruby level - $25.00/month dues paid = minimum $37.50 valued specimen.

4. Emerald level - $50/month dues paid = minimum $75.00 valued Specimen.

5. Diamond level - $ 200.00/month dues paid = minimum $300 valued specimen.

To save on shipping we also offer the option of having items shipped every 3 or 6 months. We GUARANTEE that mineral specimens will NOT be repeated within 3 years and if a specific mineral specimen is repeated, it is repeated ONLY if it comes from a new location or formation, something that makes that piece a unique, must have for your collections. Our top priority is to provide a wide range of mineral specimens for each member's collection.

Requests for new memberships and payments for renewals must be received by the 15th of the month in order to be eligible for the next month's specimen. "Back-issues" for previous months may also be available, please inquire if interested.
